Look at this gorgeous material! Blue opal wood is rare, beautiful, and each piece is a natural work of art—making it especially desirable for one-of-a-kind jewelry. It forms when silica-rich water replaces the organic material in ancient wood, fossilizing over MILLIONS of years. In some rare cases, that silica becomes opal, and even more rarely, takes on a vivid blue hue.
Many believe it carries both the grounding energy of petrified wood and the emotional clarity and calm of blue opal, making it a favorite among energy workers and collectors.
